About the Work:
This painting grew out of my personal connection to Greece and my curiosity about how the presence of the Acropolis would appear on the canvas. Rather than working from a fixed idea, the image developed intuitively through drawing and layered applications of color.
The work is less about architectural accuracy and more about atmosphere and memory. Through light, texture, and abstraction, the painting reflects the sense of history, openness, and calm that I associate with this place.
